Q:Will this work with a Marlin Model 70 .22 Cal LR?Asked on 1/10/2010 by Anonymous
A:These mags, WILL work in a Model 70-P (Papoose). Just not in a regular Marlin 70 (1978-1996) At least, not without reworking the lips with a file. It is a Pain to get it Just Right.
The original Marlin model 70, 70HC, 989M2 can trade mags.
The "National Magazine 15-round magazine" doesn't work in ANY of the above. And barely works in a 795, usually needs filing.Answered on 1/18/2010 by Big Shrek from Gulf Breeze, FL
